Cranberry and Soy Glazed Cocktail Sausages

These savory morsels are just the ticket for your holiday drinks party or any other time of year.

1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
4 tbs. cranberry sauce
5 tbs. soy sauce
1 tbs. dark brown sugar
juice of 1 clementine/satsuma
juice of 1 lime
50 cocktail sausages

Heat the oven to 400°F. Stir together the chili sauce, cranberry sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, clementine juice and lime juice in a roasting tin. Add the sausages and toss well.

Roast for 20-30 minutes, turning once, until the sausages and burnished and sticky.

Cocktail Sausages

These are not just any cocktail sausages. The sesame oil, honey and soy sauce give them a sweet-savory stickiness that is nearly impossible to resist.

2 1/4 lbs. cocktail sausages (apprize. 75)
1/2 cup honey
2 tbs. sesame oil
2 tbs. soy sauce

Heat the oven to 425°F.

Separate the links if they are joined and arrange in a shallow roasting tin. Whisk together the honey, sesame oil and soy sauce and pour over the sausages, mixing them about well.

Roast for 25-30 minutes, giving them a shuffle half way through.

Cosmo Cocktail Sausages

These little savory gems are bursting with flavor and perfect for a drinks party.

2 tbs. fine cut or shredless orange marmalade
2 tbs. cranberry sauce or loganberry jam
2 tbs. lime juice
1 splash of vodka (optional)
50 cocktail sausages

Heat the oven to 400°F.

In an ovenproof dish, stir together the marmalade, cranberry sauce, lime juice and vodka, if using. Toss in the sausages and bake for 25-30 minutes if they are raw. If the sausages are already cooked bake for 10-12 minutes.
